Step 1 – The initial phone call
A quick phone call to determine whether or not we are a good fit sets the stage for a good long-term relationship.
Step 2 – An in-depth meeting in real life or via the internet
During this meeting, we will listen and get clear about your goals, your financial concerns, your family make-up, and your unique situation. The more information you bring us—tax returns, investment statements, insurance policies, etc.—the more clearly we can understand whether or not you are paying too much in taxes or fees, how your portfolio might be improved, and/or where you might be exposed too much risk.
Step 3 – We analyze and develop your custom plan
Working as a team with the expertise and resources we have available to us, we will review everything we discussed and develop a customized plan to help grow your net worth, protect it, and pass it on to the next generation in a tax-advantaged manner.
Step 4 – We present our ideas to you
At our second meeting, we will explain your plan in plain English and answer as many questions as you want to ask about why we made the recommendations it contains. If you are ready to move forward at this meeting, we move to Step 6. We are in no rush. We are legal financial fiduciaries required to put your best interests first at all times. This includes honoring and respecting your decisions. We also may discover after this meeting that certain parts of the plan need to change or be altered. That is no problem at all. And in fact, the plan will change through the years as your life changes.
Step 5 – You spend time, review, and gut-check
Not everyone knows immediately what they want to do. We want you to feel confident in selecting us, and we don’t take our relationship lightly. We will be committed to your success for the long-term and want you to feel 100% on board. Take some time and ask yourself whether you like, respect and trust us. Will the benefits we provide meet or exceed your expectations? Do you feel we will deliver successful results? Do our recommendations make sense to you? Would you like to ask more questions?
Step 6 – We begin the transactional paperwork to move forward
If you choose to move forward with us, there will be some paperwork to fill out. We promise to make things as simple and streamlined as possible. We are committed to your long-term success and to delivering you the highest level of client service possible. If you choose not to move forward, we are confident that this is a decision that is in your best interest at this time and doors will remain open.
